We see the rationale for equity as exceeding social conscience or legislative pressure. It is also about creating an equitable environment in which the diversity of all employees is valued, and where they are given the opportunity to develop.

In order to achieve this, rocktech has embarked on a programme of focused development of designated employees in areas where there is currently under-representation, while simultaneously auditing our employment policies and practices to eliminate all forms of unfair discrimination.

We are actively working towards creating a workforce which reflects the demographics of the South African population, where this diversity contributes to the success of Rocktech Earthmoving Wearparts.

Rocktech currently has a Level 6 BEE rating and we are working hard to improve this rating.  Our new Verification certificate should be available during the middle of April 2010.
